Tellus has created a series of periodic tables to highlight the elements found in the geochemical samples.
Stream Sediment
This Periodic Table presents the inorganic geochemical data for 56 analytes measured in fine fraction (sub 150 μm) stream sediment samples across Ireland. Samples were collected from low order streams between 2011 and 2017, as part of the Tellus geochemical survey project of Geological Survey Ireland.
Stream Water
This Periodic Table presents the inorganic geochemical data for 61 analytes measured in stream water samples across Ireland. Samples were collected from low-order streams between 2011 and 2017, as part of the Tellus geochemical survey project of Geological Survey Ireland.
Shallow Topsoil
This Periodic Table presents the geochemical data for 44 inorganic elements measured in shallow topsoil samples (nominally c. 5–20 cm depth) across Ireland. Also shown are pH and loss-on-ignition (LOI). Samples were collected between 2004 and 2019, as part of the Tellus geochemical survey projects of Geological Survey Ireland and the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland.
Deeper Topsoil
This Periodic Table presents the inorganic geochemical data for 111 analytes measured in deeper topsoil samples (nominally c. 35–50 cm depth) across Ireland. Samples were collected between 2011 and 2017, as part of the Tellus geochemical survey project of Geological Survey Ireland.
