iCRAG is the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre in Applied Geosciences hosted by University College Dublin, comprises a team of 150 researchers creating solutions for a sustainable society across eight universities and institutions.
In iCRAG researchers develop innovative science and technologies to better understand the Earth's past, present, and future and how people are connected to it; in areas that are critical to society and the economy.
iCRAG is supported by Science Foundation Ireland, Geological Survey Ireland and industry partners.
Geological Survey Ireland has co-funded PhDs in the areas of Environmental Geoscience as well as projects in the Geohazards and Geotechnical Engineering.
