Tellus Geophysical Test Line Report

Published:

The Tellus geophysics team have published a new report summarising the findings from a ground Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) survey carried out in October 2021 along the 4.4 km on-land portion of the Waterford Airborne Test Line. This report investigates the ERT data in conjunction with the repeated electromagnetic (EM) survey data along the same line, comparing derived inverted sections. The investigation also included a comparison of inversion models produced from ERT data collected using three distinct electrode array configurations (Schlumberger, Wenner Alpha and Dipole-Dipole) and examined the repeatability of the ERT data by comparing data acquired along a 395 m stretch of the Waterford Test Line during a previous (2018) Tellus ground ERT survey with data measured along coincident profiles in this 2021 survey. The airborne data from 20 repeat test line flights are also presented. Click here to view the report (PDF).
