The Geological Heritage of Longford

The audit of County Geological Sites in Co Longford was completed in 2015. The audit was carried out by Ronan Hennessy, Robert Meehan, Matthew Parkes and Sarah Gatley. The Longford Geological Heritage Project was supported by the Heritage Council, the Geological Survey of Ireland, Longford County Council. The resulting report was an action of the County Longford Heritage Plan 2015-2021.
