Sophie O’Connor from the Urban Geology Programme in Geological Survey Ireland, is part of a sub-group within the EGS Urban Geology Expert Group (UGEG) and has been working on a paper to follow up on de Mulder’s 1993 position paper on urban geology in Europe.
The article “Geoscience for Cities: Delivering Europe’s Sustainable Urban Future” has been published in Sustainability as part of the Special Issue Sustainable Urbanism: Definition, Assessment and Agenda for Future Research.
