This fieldtrip led by Brian McConnell (GSI, Land Mapping Unit) will focus primarily on the Ordovician volcanic and sedimentary fill of the South Mayo Trough basin, including the Lough Nafooey volcano, basin-margin conglomerates, and ignimbrite sheets.
