Geological Survey Ireland is pleased to announce that this year’s Geoscience Conference will take place on 18 and 19 November.

Unfortunately, given the circumstances, this year it will be a fully online event. However, we can assure you that we will still have the same range of excellent speakers and will be updating our stakeholders and partners on our new data, events and products from 2020, plus a look at the activities planned for 2021.

Minister Eamon Ryan will open the meeting which this year will focus on the theme of Geoscience for Policy. It will be held be over two half-days and will cover policy related geosicence topics such as geothermal energy, water, minerals, radon, soils and more.

Registration details can be found here. A fully interactive online platform will be provided including an exhibition space for GSI funded research, Q&A facility, and information about our speakers.
