This year to mark European Researchers’ Night 2024, three Maynooth based geoscience researchers will give a short presentation about their recent work funded by the Geological Survey Ireland.
The event will showcase some leading Irish research from colleagues in Maynooth University, focused on Marine, Coastal and Climate research areas.
Speakers include:
Dr Niamh Cahill – “Estimating likely extreme sea-levels in Ireland“
Dr Conor Cahalane – “Coastal Remote Sensing – 10 Years Collaboration with GSI“
Dr Helen Shaw – “How we estimate and model past enviroments; research from the ICARUS team at Maynooth“
Talks will start at 6.30pm, refreshments available from 5.30pm at the venue.
