The Open University Geological Society Ireland Branch is organising a day of talks on catastrophic events in geology past and present. Topics covered include tsunami, earthquakes, volcanism, meteorite impacts and landslides.

This event is organised for members, but all are welcome to join.
There will be a small charge of €5 to help cover expenses.
Tea, coffee and lunch are available from the nearby Museum Cafe or local supermarket, or you may bring your own.
