2021 marked the 10th anniversary of the Tellus programme in Geological Survey Ireland. Back in 2011, Geological Survey Ireland and the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland (GSNI) came together in a joint INTERREG IV European project to map the border regional of Ireland using geochemical and airborne geophysics techniques. Since then Geological Survey Ireland has continued these surveys crossing the skies and visiting sites across the country and is well on its way to complete national coverage in the coming years. To mark this anniversary the Tellus Team have put together a magazine charting the Tellus story, the survey, outputs and the people who helped deliver the programme over the years.
