Today sees the release of the new Radon Risk Map of Ireland by the Environmental Protection Agency. Geological Survey Ireland is pleased to have provided geoscience data, expert collaboration and research co-funding for the development of the map. The map updates the radon risk assessment for Ireland on the basis of geology and identifies new areas at increased risk of radon.
