The biannual meeting of the Urban Geology Expert Group (UGEG) took place in Łódź ,Poland from Wednesday 16th to Friday 18th of October. The meeting was organized by the Geological Survey of Poland.
The meeting was attended by 2 members of the Urban Geology programme from Geological Survey Ireland.
The meeting consisted in a workshop of Urban Geology & Geotechnics in the 8th Engineering Geology Challenges Conference, the progress of the planning activities the expert group is working on and a half a day field trip to Klodawa mine.
