The Tellus Programme in Geological Survey Ireland, is pleased to release the latest data from the ongoing airborne geophysical survey. New magnetic, electromagnetic and radiometric data is released for two new survey blocks; A8 (south Central) and A9 (Cork). This new data has also been seamlessly merged with the existing Tellus airborne data to create a new merged dataset. There are close to 60 million data points in the magnetic merged dataset, with now over 80% of the island of Ireland covered. The new data will be used to continue our geological mapping and investigations in these areas. The data, along with supporting technical reports is available here. Our data and maps viewer can be accessed here.
