Cunningham Prizes 2020 - Geological Survey Ireland prizes for undergraduate mapping announced.

The Cunningham College Prizes recognise achievement in the key skill of geological field mapping.  They are awarded in memory of Mark Cunningham, former Assistant Director of Geological Survey Ireland. 

Two equal prizes are awarded to the best field mapping projects by students graduating from Irish colleges each year.

The 2020 Cunningham College Prize winners are:

Ben Macfarlane, TCD: The Geology of Villamanín [NW Spain]

Ben Latimer, UCC: The Geology of Melmore Head, Rosguill Peninsula, County Donegal
