The annual BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition moved online for 2021. Koen Verbruggen, Geological Survey Ireland's Director, presented the Geological Survey Ireland award to Oisín Jackson for his project "An Investigation into the Difference in Height of Adjoining Clints in Limestone Pavement in the Burren". Oisín, from Mary Immaculate Secondary School (Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare), looked in detail at the difference in height of adjoining clints and tried to see if prevailing wind may contribute to their formation.
