Congratulations to Dr Brenda McNally from Trinity College Dublin who has been awarded the 2019 Fulbright-GSI Scholarship. Dr McNally is a Research Fellow at the Department of Geography, TCD studying citizens’ views and media use around climate actions in Ireland. Her research sheds light on the political, ethical and cultural dimensions of climate change and contributes to communications practice aimed at building a just transition. As a Fulbright-GSI Scholar, Dr McNally will visit the Centre for Science and Imagination at Arizona State University and the Centre for Science and Technology Policy Research at University of Colorado Boulder to learn more about socio-ecological imaginaries and how they can be used to reinvigorate public engagement with climate and energy policy in Ireland.
