​The audit of County Geological Sites in County Tipperary was completed in 2019. The audit was carried out by Vincent Gallagher, Robert Meehan, Matthew Parkes, Ronan Hennessy and Siobhán Power. The County Tipperary Geological Heritage Project was supported by Geological Survey Ireland, Tipperary County Council and The Heritage Council. The resulting report is a contribution to the County Tipperary Heritage Plan 2017-2021.
