The audit of County Geological Sites in Co Sligo was completed in 2004. The audit was carried out by Claire McAteer and Matthew Parkes. The Sligo Geological Heritage Project was supported by the Heritage Council, the Geological Survey of Ireland and the Sligo County Council. The resulting report was an action of the County Sligo Heritage Plan 2002-2006.
