Geological Survey Ireland will feature in the third episode of the new series of 10 Things to Know About... on RTÉ One, Monday 25 November 2019 at 20.30.

Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin, Kathriona Devereux and Jonathan McCrea investigate with Siobhán Power and Eoin McGrath the geology of metals, finding out about the technology and techniques used to locate and safely extract them from the ground to be used in everything from toothpaste to phones.
