Post-doc research opportunity in Radon hazard mapping in Ireland

​​Trinity College Dublin and the Geological Survey Ireland seek a post-doctoral researcher to contribute to on-going research in radon hazard mapping and modelling in Ireland. The project will leverage recent advances in measuring soil radon and explore links with groundwater radon from selected regions in Ireland. The project will benefit from, and add value to, the on-going national Tellus survey which includes geochemical baseline data for soil and stream water, as well as air-borne radiometric data. The post-doctoral researcher will be based at the Trinity Centre for the Environment, the newly formed Earth Surface Research facility at TCD and the Geological Survey Ireland.
