The GSI launched a new 1:100k bedrock map at Geoscience 2018.
The new map is an update on the 2016 seamless digital map. This new map includes updates from the 1:50k mapping programme carried out by the Geological Mapping Programme. This work gathers new data as well as re-interpreting legacy data to produce maps to more accurately reflect the geology and we are extremely pleased to be able to incorporate these changes into the 100k map.
