Geological Survey Ireland is delighted to launch the recently published Geology of South Mayo Field Guide (by John Graham, TCD) on the 29 and 30 September 2022.
On Thursday 29 September at 6pm, there will be a reception at the NUIG Earth & Ocean Sciences department, followed by talks for Researchers' Night 2022. On Friday 30 September, there will be a field trip led by Dr Brian McConnell (Geological Survey Ireland) to some of the key sites highlighted in the new publication.
A copy of the book, The geology of South Mayo - A Field Guide (by John Graham) will be available to purchase on the night for a discounted prices of €15, however unfortunately we will not be able to accept credit/debit card on site (cash only).
