INFOMAR (INtegrated Mapping FOr the Sustainable Development of Ireland's MArine Resource) is a DCCAE funded joint programme between Geological Survey Ireland and the Marine Institute, surveying our unmapped marine territory and creating a range of integrated mapping products of the physical, chemical and biological features of the seabed.
Each year in November, the INFOMAR seminar presents an opportunity to learn about the programme with a series of engaging presentations and discussions on the latest in Irish marine research, seabed mapping techniques and our survey progress.
